SVETLANA SOLODYANKINA

My name is Svetlana, and I live in Varna, Bulgaria. Until 2022, I was a senior researcher at the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Institute of Geography and a part-time associate professor at two universities. After that, I spent one year as a social worker at the Bulgarian Red Cross, helping refugees from Ukraine. Over the last two years, I have explored new fields, working in chemistry (SGS laboratory) and education (as a teacher at ASB). I am now looking for a new projects that aligns with my interests and expertise, which include soil science, plant science/geobotany, biomass and carbon stock analysis, geomorphology, hydrology, climatology, landscape and geosystem classification, landscape and urban planning, mapping and GIS, as well as statistical analysis and database management.
